COMPREHENSIVE SUPPORT FOR SURVIVORS, YOUTH AND FAMILIES.

We deliver integrated, community-based services that meet people where they are — from safe shelter and trauma counselling to skills development and health care. By combining GBV support, psychosocial care, skills training, and community awareness, we help survivors heal, empower women and youth, and address the root causes of violence, unemployment, and poverty.

Our work reaches Ndwedwe, Inanda, Ntuzuma and Durban North, as well as surrounding communities including uMzinyathi, Emaphephetheni and eKukhanyeni.

Dignity & Healing

We create safe spaces where survivors of GBV can heal, rebuild & reclaim their dignity.

Skills & Opportunity

We equip youth and women with skills, training, and employment pathways that break cycles of poverty.

Community & Protection

We strengthen the networks that protect women and children and build safer, more resilient communities.

STAND WITH SURVIVORS. INVEST IN CHANGE.

ROOTED IN ENDWEDWE. DRIVEN BY PURPOSE.

Spear Foundation was born from the youth of Ward 3, who saw unemployment, gender-based violence, and crime holding their community back — and chose to act. Today we work hand in hand with survivors, families, schools, and partners to create lasting change.
